Napoleon sponsors Coca Cola

art digital, 2024

It took me a while to finish it because I couldn’t decide on the right setting: I tried Saint Helena Island, nothing; then Elba Island, nothing. Finally, I added a touch of his Italian roots, noticing the beach chair he was sitting on and a scarf with French colors to define him as half French and half Italian, of course. It frustrated me that I couldn’t create a setting that suited the protagonist. The idea of advertising Coca Cola was my stroke of genius, but it still makes me feel insecure about my ability to match the drawing style. I hope my effort and stress are appreciated.
