Fox Hunt in the English Countryside

Pittura, 2026

This artwork depicts a traditional English fox hunt set in a rural landscape. In the foreground, a rider dressed in a red hunting coat and black riding hat sits atop a white horse, surrounded by a lively pack of hounds actively searching through the grass. Behind them, other riders in formal hunting attire follow along the trail, framed by wooden fences and dense trees. The scene captures the energy, ritual, and social pageantry of 19th-century fox hunting, emphasizing the harmony between horse, rider, and hound within a pastoral setting. The image is bordered in black and brown and appears printed on a decorative coaster.
