ENThe Acquerelli 2025 series explores the relationship between light, water, and perception. Through transparent layers of watercolor, the image emerges gradually, as if revealed over time. Water functions as both an optical and mental filter: surface and depth coexist within the same visual field. The works focus on minimal elements—stones, reflections, subtle movements of the sea—which, when isolated from their wider context, acquire an almost abstract presence. The figurative structure remains, but the viewer is invited to look slowly, to follow tonal shifts and luminous transitions. Taken together, the series offers a contemplative experience, where the sea is not treated as an external landscape but as an inner space and a perceptual condition in continuous transformation.
