Modern Sociability Reprise - Silent Parallel

These are modern times, we do connect with literally everyone on the planet, yet only virtually: real connection is on another level, it\'s made of touch, smell and sounds.
What do you sense licking your smartphone screen?

Two mirrored figures, back to back: present, yet untouched.
Silent Parallel captures the quiet ache of self-alienation, the emotional stasis born from lives mediated through screens. There is no confrontation here, no dialogue, not even the illusion of one. And yet, despite their opposition, the figures remain bound in a shared rhythm, connected in form, but divided in direction.

Even without their digital veils, they may never meet. Facing outward, they mirror the geometry of modern disconnection: proximate yet apart, parallel but never intersecting. It is not absence that unsettles, but presence without depth, contact without communion.
