Portrait of Mme de Sèvigné, the very famous French writer, known for her epistolary with her daughter. She has the power to describe the life at the time of Louis XIV as it is alive and throbbing - everyone who read her letters can imagine being there at that time. That's why this portrait begins in black and white and then takes colors, as the stories written by Mme de Sévigné, that begin with words written by ink on a paper and then come to life. The portrait is surrounded by letters, as it has been in the real-life of this wonderful women.
The portrait is a mixte technique: graphite and pastel in the b/w part, oil in the colored one + letters and the wooden frame, all around.
