Formazione
CAKLA was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1975 but she has a easteurope’s extraction. She obteined the first degree in Fine Art’s History – University of Bologna – then she had a P.H.D. in Art Communication. She studied Photography in San Francisco, Berckley University. She obtained the certificate of attendance at Bologna’s Cineteca for the course of film editing and post-production. Now she connverge her attention not only to photography and video installation as a place of study and experimentation, but also in the visual art's field. She wants to explore the borderlines in movies and theatre’s field, in fact her art is a midway between filmmaking and theatricality of the scene: her favourite subjects are strange stories, dreamlike, surreal, evocative. She lives up and down from Bologna and Berlin, where he has exhibited in various contexts. She has authored about 30 exhibitions in solo exibithions and collective, in Italy and Europe.She lit a fruitful collaboration with the duo MURDER, using their innovative musical semantics, as part of its work. But she is a soundisegner too. She works mostly in Selfportrait mode, when she takes a shots.When she paint, she use almost an ordinary stylo pen. But she likes to put also a mixed materials inside her works.
