Illustrated Novel Bonaparte version Elenoire La Renard

I have restored the novel Bonaparte, illustrated by Jacques Onfroy de Bréville, known as Job, in my own version to commemorate both the artist and the writer who collaborated with Jacques Onfroy de Bréville. The writer of the hand-illustrated novel is Georges Montorgueil. Here is a piece in French from the book; here is the translation in English: "At the joyous sound of bells, the altars of its churches, its inhabitants dressed in their Sunday best, and its houses adorned with foliage, August 15 (760) awakened Ajaccio. It was the Assumption, the patronal feast of Corsica, celebrated just barely a year ago. And the cathedral opened wide its doors to the crowd that pressed in with a great murmur of joy.
