A thin heel rests on a wounded book, its pages burned, a golden rosary abandoned between the paper. Sacred belief and knowledge are brought to the same level: beneath a foot.This is not destruction — it’s a statement of power.
The work plays on the edge between devotion and desire, between reverence and profanation. The figure has no face, yet the presence is absolute.The viewer must decide: rebellion, liberation, or sin?
