An elegant yet determined female leg rests upon a pile of burned books. The pages, blackened by fire, carry the marks of time and evoke the fragility of memory and ideas.Barbed wire winds around the volumes. Not as a prison for the books, but as a symbol of tension, violence and conflict: a sharp presence crossing the scene and transforming the base of the work into unstable, almost dangerous ground.The glossy red high heel introduces a striking contrast between seduction and force. The gesture appears suspended between grace and domination, between balance and pressure.
The artwork thus becomes a reflection on the human condition: culture, history and thought always exist within fields of tension, where beauty and violence coexist.
And above this ground of burned pages and barbed wire, the figure remains in balance.
