HOLY PINK , ARIANNA DE BLANCK.

A burnt book, reduced to a relic of what has been consumed by time or guilt, becomes the silent heart of the composition. Above it, a small rosary clings like a final gesture of faith, yet it is interrupted and contaminated by splashes of red paint, marks that evoke wounds, passion, or sacrifice.

The work thus constructs a contemporary altar: a place where the sacred is not pure, but contaminated; where femininity is not idealised, but exposed; where devotion coexists with destruction
