Like every single woman in my homeland, I have personally livedthrough years of constraints and the marginalization of women in society. Forme, art became an essential instrument to make visible the rightful place ofIranian women, who have cried out for their right to freedom for years, yetwent unheard.

I have always strived, if only in a modest way, to be a worthyrepresentative of my nation. Behind each of my creations lies hidden passion,diligence, and hope. As an artist, I have learned that art is not solely theexpression of emotions, but a powerful instrument to serve as a voice for thosein society who were neither heard nor seen.
