Armonicromente
pittrice
Miriam Rita Scotto is a self-taught painter who works primarily with acrylics, oil pastels, and spray paint. She experiments with layers, energetic gestures, and chromatic contrasts, creating dynamic surfaces with an introspective and reflective character. Through her art, she seeks to convey the deepest and most invisible dimensions of emotion, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in vibrant and poetic inner landscapes. She has been publicly active as an artist for about a year and, during this time, has held two solo exhibitions. The first took place at Cà de Wine, in Piazza Dalmazia 3/c, while the second marked her first solo exhibition in a gallery, inaugurated in October 2025 at Salone d’Arte Trieste, in Via Rossetti 6/b. Both experiences represented important moments of dialogue and growth within her artistic path and, above all, a source of great personal satisfaction in seeing her art “circulate and breathe new air.”Her stylistic language is rooted in abstract art, which for her represents a space of expressive freedom and inner exploration. Through color, the mark of pastels, and composition, she seeks to give form to emotions, sensations, and dynamics that are not immediately visible, allowing the viewer to establish a personal relationship with the artwork. For her, abstraction is an open language one that suggests rather than defines, and invites contemplation and reflection.
