Spheropolis: The Future is Within Reach – The Spectacular "Guanto Pavilion" Officially Opens
BY ARTS & CULTURE DESK – JANUARY 15, 2026
Spheropolis – If the "Mutanda Building" shook the foundations of traditional rationalism, the newly unveiled Guanto Pavilion promises to embrace humanity in an unprecedented architectural hug. This morning, under a crystal-clear sky, artist and architect Enrico Thanhoffer, known as Fanty Building, cut the ribbon on his latest creation, already hailed by critics as the "Open Hand of Globism".
The building, which rises scenographically from the center of an artificial water basin, is not merely an exhibition space; it is a living manifesto of architecture that seeks to finally "touch" the soul of its citizens.
Architecture of HospitalityThe pavilion is designed as a giant hand reaching toward the sky, where the "fingers" serve as ultra-modern, transparent panoramic towers.
The Palm of Culture: The circular base, representing the palm, houses a vast geodesic glass dome that floods the exhibition halls below with natural light.
Suspended Pathways: A series of fluid ramps and walkways wrap around the structure, allowing visitors to stroll at various heights, almost suspended between the water and the sky, removing all barriers between interior and exterior.
Urban Integration: In the background, the Spheropolis skyline—with its signature organic and spherical towers—frames this new landmark, solidifying the city’s unique visual identity.
During the inaugural speech, Fanty Building explained the profound symbolism behind the work:
"The Guanto Pavilion represents welcome, labor, and protection. In an increasingly digital and detached world, we have built a place that celebrates human contact. It is a hand open to the future, ready to support the arts and the community".
The work perfectly embodies the principles of Globism: the abandonment of sharp edges in favor of a fluidity that follows the natural movement of humans through space.
A New Global AttractionWith the opening of the pavilion, Spheropolis confirms its status as an essential destination for avant-garde architecture. The first visitors were enthralled by the structure's sense of weightlessness, which, despite its massive scale, seems to float on the water like an aquatic organism.
Starting tomorrow, the Guanto Pavilion will host its first international exhibition dedicated to the evolution of organic forms in urban design. Once again, Fanty Building has proven that in Spheropolis, imagination has no boundaries—only beautiful curves.
