LAST ACT , ARIANNA DE BLANCK.
A gesture suspended between the sacred and the profane, between power and fragility. At the center of the work, a high heel rises as a symbol of presence and absence: elegant, vertical, yet at the same time unstable, like a final act before the fall. Beside it, a crucifix marks the space, severe and definitive, evoking the weight of tradition and faith, the history that bears down on individual actions.
On the surface, the word Vaticanum appears like a seal, an echo of authority and memory, suspended between reverence and provocation. The combination of elements creates a visual and symbolic tension, suspended in time.
The work speaks of contrasts: femininity and rigor, desire and constraint, presence and absence. Each element becomes gesture, metaphor, a narrative of a last act, a final scene in which every mark, every form, every word carries weight, resonance, and inevitable transience.
