In this work, beauty is not innocent.  It is a ritual.
A leg rises with quiet elegance, bare and luminous in its apparent purity. The foot wears a glossy red high heel, shining like a promise and sharp as a wound. Around the ankle, a rope tightens and holds: not a simple ornament, but a silent bond.
Beneath the step, a surface studded with red nails waits, motionless.  It does not reject. It does not cry out. It receives.
The gesture, suspended between desire and pain, becomes a sacred act: beauty advances knowingly toward its own trial. Red dominates the scene like a heartbeat, like blood pulsing beneath the skin, like the invisible price that so often accompanies what appears perfect.
Sacrifice tells the eternal paradox of seduction: what fascinates can wound, what elevates can restrain. Grace bends under tension, elegance coexists with suffering.
And yet the foot does not withdraw.
Because every form of beauty, when it becomes absolute, always demands something in return.
