BALANCE , ARIANNA DE BLANCK.

Balance arises from a search into the value of matter in its most essential form. Fragile material is stripped of its function to become surface, memory, and presence. The deep blue background creates a suspended space in which the white seems to float between emptiness and light.
The work invites the viewer to slow down their gaze, finding harmony in simplicity and in the imperfections of matter. The dialogue between white and blue becomes a reflection on the balance between strength and delicacy, fullness and emptiness, the visible and the invisible.
